We are in the season of thankfulness. I find myself being drawn to my faith, to Our Father in songs of praise & thanksGIVING. I wouldn’t BE me without Him. I wouldn’t have the countless blessings if I didn’t have Him. He is my Savior, my Rock. I give Him thanks for all that is in my life.
It’s the season of food, Santa and bells ringing. Some of those bells aren’t being worn by reindeer, aren’t coming from angels wings. They are coming from the brass bells ringing by the shiny red buckets, the familiar song of Christmas time. We’ve all heard them and seen them, if not the red bell for the Salvation Army looking for donations, it’s another charitable cause. I’ll admit, it seems overwhelming at times. And I can see firsthand, how hard it is to raise funds for causes, as I’m struggling in my own fundraising for my upcoming missionary trip to Haiti. God calls for us to generous.
Deuteronomy 15:10
Giving does NOT have to be financial. We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone. A hug, a smile, a meal, maybe help someone with their children… GIVING comes in SOOOO MANY WAYS. Take a minute and think about how YOU can give back.
Let’s give to others as God has freely given to us. Where has God led you to be generous in giving?
Thank you for being here and reading this! God loves YOU!
Blessings,
Robyn
